I’m coming to the conclusion that they are going to get away with print-and-spend, probably for the rest of my natural lifetime.
Who is going to call them on it? The effects of our sudden collapse on the rest of the world are too horrible for them to contemplate. Money is no longer backed by gold, silver or anything tangible, so as long as they can induce mass psychosis in the world population this game of Three Card Monte will go on.
If the wheels aren’t coming off at $21 trillion, will they ever? We may truly be Too Big to Fail.
I think this is a very insightful post. If the rest of the world is going to honor our currency at face value we are going to keep printing it. I wonder if this what some insiders figured out long ago
