The reason we do so poorly in the midterms, is because we’ve never had a leadership or fighters in the GOP or most important anyone we really admired, respected and liked.

I mean the media has to report on every Twitter post just because of who it came from. It comes through unfiltered, with no spin and no filter through “White House staffers” or the Press Secretary.
The media can react to it and try and create a narrative to fit it but the days of making stuff up about what the President said is over. The D’s and media found out this week in regards to the “animal” flap just how untenable their position(s) are.

I wonder if the press will eventually do a blackout on Trump news. When the press found they couldn’t shut down Rush Limbaugh, they just stopped reporting on him entirely. I suspect they may do the same for Trump.

I was looking up more info about the guy. He is the third generation to own his farm, and apparently his kids are not interested in working there. His frumpy wife looks like the Russian dictator’s wives used to look, but the guy is three hundred pounds himself. So, he is most likely not the classic slick US politician chasing teenagers (or tweeners) of both sexes on the side.
He has mangled fingers from manual work. He knows how to farm, and does farm activities when he is home.
But I agree, how the h can he be a US Senator and a Montana farmer at the same time?

Tester wasn’t going to get into it with Trump over the senator’s role in bringing down the president’s Veterans Affairs nominee, Ronny Jackson.
Does that mean that Sen. Sherrod Brown has never met Sen. Jon Tester, who lobbed a barrage of name-calling and anonymous and defamatory and evidently false charges against Ronny Jackson?
Or does it perhaps mean that Sen. Brown does not consider Sen. Tester to be an adult?
