List of Texas Executions for people who the crime was committed at 17. Currently, according to the USSC, he can indeed be tried as an adult and executed.

Incorrect. Note that every sentence you listed took place before 2005.

Roper v. Simmons, 543 U.S. 551 (2005), was a landmark decision in which the Supreme Court of the United States held that it is unconstitutional to impose capital punishment for crimes committed while under the age of 18. The 5-4 decision overruled Stanford v. Kentucky, 492 U.S. 361 (1989), in which the court had upheld execution of offenders at or above age 16, and overturned statutes in 25 states.

I’m sure the Supremes feel proud kids can commit capital murder and get away with it.

They don’t have to look in the eyes of grieving families and explain to them someone knows right and wrong when they’re 18 but not when they’re 17.

What a bunch of f*ckin’ maroons.

They also said Texas couldn’t execute a Mexican citizen because the embassy wasn’t called. W even tried to intervene.

Texas did it.
