What constitutional authority does Congress have to decide what goes on on farms around the country?

It all goes back to the New Deal and FDR's threats of court-packing which managed to frighten SCOTUS into ditching the Constitution and giving him what he wanted.

Here in my part of the Buckeye state, it’s the time of year when traffic gets slowed down as tractors with huge disc attachments or seeders move slowly down the country road.

It’s a pure gamble for them sometimes, because government control doesn’t stabilize the risk they take at all. Corn has gone from bounced from less than 3 to as high as 9 in the last few years. How do you deal with that so called government market?
