Agree it goes much higher into the Executive Branch. This smells entirely of the typical dirty Chicago / Cook County dirty thug politics that Obama imbibed there, only writ MUCH larger. It smacks of what Obama did to Alice Palmer there, only on the national stage and much grander in scope.
