When Sen. Claire McCaskill looks through her looking glass these days, what does she see? ▪ A Republican governor in her home state who declared a great victory after a felony invasion-of-privacy charge was dropped but who still faces possible impeachment. ▪ Gov. Eric Greitens allies attacking Attorney General Josh Hawley, whos McCaskills likely rival this fall in the U.S. Senate race. Their beef: Hawleys investigating who else? the scandal-prone governor from his own party. ▪ Rule-of-law conservatives sticking up for Greitens despite felony charges and a swirl of other allegations that multiply by the day. We want to see Greitens stay in there, Mike Buehler, the Vernon County clerk, told The Star. He admitted his wrongdoing, so why do they keep going after him? ▪ She sees a publisher booted out of the press corps for handing an anti-Greitens lawyer $50,000 in cash and national newspapers reporting that power in the Show-Me State is often wielded in secret, and often with cash.
In short, McCaskill sees the best friend she can have in politics these days, and thats the ongoing, undeniable presence of GOP chaos.

It’s not just Missouri. Look at what happened in Alabama. I get the impression that the GOP in several states is really a foil for the Dem Party. It seems that they always throw the easy elections in order to elect vulnerable Democrats.
Selfish idiots
You could see this coming.
Another method they seem to be employing is to masquerade as Trump supporters. Never, ever believe a Democrat--NEVER. They are phonies. Vote straight Republican--always!!!
The Missouri Governor admits he had an affair though. Turning it into a crime might be over the top, but where do we get these guys anyway?
Granted he admitted to that but the rest of it is likely to be pure fiction concocted by Democrats with the express purpose of creating this chaos. I am to the point, I never accept anything coming from a Democrat of the press, with exceptions. I’ve learned a valuable lesson because I was not with Trump through the primary because he was not acceptable as a man. Now look. Who would have thought this guy can possibly be one of the best presidents ever.
They deliberately throw elections if the Republican candidate is a reformer intent on slowing down or stopping the money spending party in Washington DC.
For years I have heard there was a "cabal", and for years I dismissed the idea as too ridiculous, but in the last three years I have come to see what I regard as pretty good evidence of a "cabal" that gets both parties colluding to keep the money spigot of Washington DC flowing to their businesses and their cronies.
Both the Democrats and the GOP are effectively agents of the donor class. Some people call these people the "globalists", as well as a few other names.
I see them as people who aren't loyal to any particular thing or entity, and who just want to make sure they are on the top of the power heap. For the sake of convenience we can call them "robber barons." :)
I believe they will deliberately make sh*t up to attack a candidate that might wield the power of Washington DC.
I think they deliberately made sh*t up to attack Roy Moore in Alabama. They did the same thing to George Allen in Virginia, as well as others.
Yup!!!!
Not just Missouri. As a Conservative American, I have had it with these clowns. Aside from the Rank and File and a handful of other like the Freedom Caucus, the only worth anything is Trump.
The Missouri Governor admits he had an affair though.
The second charge, that he used his own charity’s mailing list was made a day or two before the statute of limitations kicked inlikely when the prosecutor realized that the first charge wasn’t going to stick.
Democrats have honed ‘law fare’ into an art form. Sarah Palin was driven from office by the weight of constant lawsuits, Tom DeLay was charged by a local democrat prosecutor for campaign finance violations that turned out to be bogus.
They are attempting the same thing with President Trump.
Greitens is a politcal outsider (remind you of anyone?) and the Republican establishment was never keen on him. That’s one reason why so many Republicans were eager to throw him under the bus when the first charges were made.
As to why we “got this guy” the Missouri voters kind of got a kick out of his ads describing his background as a SEAL and grinning as he fired a machine guna real machine gun, not an AR-15.
Ads featuring McCaskill fawning over Hillary! should be enough to put her away politicallyI hope.
RINOs work for the elite who own the DNC.
We got that particular one from the Navy Seals
Now we see Missouri Republicans joining the braying hounds.
What’s wrong with these people ?
During the 2012 election cycle, Claire made sure that she would face Todd Akin in the general election by funding his primary contest. With her help, he won the Repbulican primary and at that point, the Republicans could not win the Senate seat. I haven’t seen any evidence that she is doing that again, but the moron prosecutor who brought the photo charge against Greitens is one of the Democrat cabal who are desperately trying to hold power in Missouri. It’s hard to obtain a conviction when you can’t produce the evidence, to wit: the photograph. I guess that it’s hard to get a picture of a dream.
Hawley has brought charges related to Greitens charity and their mailing list. I think that Grietens has run the charity on the fast and loose plan, but if Democrats were brought to court for criminal activity at their charities, foundations, and PACs they would have enough candidates to even stand for a single school board election.
Of course, McCaskill gets plenty of pro bono help from the criminal class of Missouri including The Kansas City Star.
Apparently a lot of us are seeing things this way.
Ping.
