Thank you so much for that explanation.

It doesn’t help our nation that very little history is taught in our public schools.

I’d like to see someone start Constitution Clubs in our schools. Clubs that would teach and explain the United States Constitution to our teenagers.

Actually, someone has such an organization. You may remember Janine Turner, Actress, from her work on TV and movies. Check out her "Constituting America" web site for details.

Also, you may wish to check here for a series of essays which laid out the principles underlying our Constitution's protections, as well as many other critical historical information from the founding period.

These essays are excerpted from the Bicentennial Volume, entitled, "Our Ageless Constitution" and are presented in easy-to-read form. They hold strictly to the Framers' own words and interpretations. They may be downloaded and copied for use with youth and/or others.

Please feel free to review my posts on FR over the past few years. I have tried to present the Founder' views on whatever current subject was under discussion here. Just search freerepublic.com loveliberty2 posts.
