The iron cross did not originate with the Nazis. The Nazis simply continued the use of the iron cross.

Hitler, Goering and Rommel ALL earned their (first) iron cross in WWI before the Nazi party existed.

Posting all the pictures in the world will not alter these facts.

I meant it to signify that the Iron Cross, not matter what it was associated with prior to Hitler’s rise, has irrevocably become a symbol of Nazi Germany.

Just as the Confederate Battle Flag has become a symbol of the institution of slavery. The narrative overwhelms the facts.
