What we’ve seen from the media is not only a fabrication, it is irresponsible and destructive. The same media were telling us in the beginning of the week that Israeli forces were indiscriminately shooting peaceful Palestinian protesters only to find out that of the 62 killed, 50 were working for Hamas. That information would not have been reported if Hamas itself were not loudly bragging about it.

Maybe MS-13 will start issuing press releases so that Beltway journalists can begin getting a clue.

The more the national media tout their slogans about their transparency and truthfulness, the more obvious it is that they are only trying to convince themselves at this point.

Tom Shattuck is the Boston Herald’s editorial page editor.

The national media makes the Corvair or Pinto look like very responsible, safe automobile design by comparison. Or eating out at Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King, or McD’s seem like a health conscious idea.

Fake news - “You didn’t really think we convey Trump’s comments accurately, now did you?”

Just this week, the media and dems (one in the same, I know) have come out in support of Hamas, MS13, Iran and North Korea. That pretty much says it all about who they are. Instead of running a montage of clips showing that in political ads, we see republicans in congress trying to get some sort of amnesty passed.

"The Most Trusted Name in News" and similar media slogans remind me of: "Baltimore - the city that reads" and the classic "New Jersey - the garden state".

Are you paying them to lie to you?

In a round-about way, the main stream media has become transparent - transparently idiots, and transparently jerks.
