"...How does it compare in terms of Agility/manoeuvrability with the following platforms: 1.Rafale 2. Typhoon 3. F-35 4. Su-35? Well I can’t or rather we don’t comment on the competition, other than saying these aircraft are all good. But with Gripen E operational capabilities and technological advances – in a “knife-fight” we bring the “gun”..."

This is a glaring example of someone who clearly does not understand to even a small degree the current environment. If you are in an F-35 and are in a turn and burn with any 4th Gen fighter, you have already squandered all of your advantages which you may have held.

I see it somewhat the same as someone who goes to a knife fight with a fully loaded M249 SAW instead of a knife, and then laying it down on the floor to "fight fair", then get your throat cut.

They are cute and a nice snack for a Raptor.

Indeed. Nice looking planes, probably just as good in many ways in uncontested airspace much as our F-18’s, F-15’s and F-16’s are.

It displays a lack of understanding to compare it to any 5th Gen fighter.

But, nice looking plane...and I do have soft spot for those.

I’ll take one in all-white. Needs a CD changer, too.

CD changers are old school. Plug in a 128GB thumb drive, and you can have more music available than you can stand.

Combat flying often involves negative G.

Cup holder has to be on a gimbal.

Very true. Plus all those CD’s make a real mess when you roll inverted.

Let me tell you about my 8-tracks in my jet black F-4 Phantom II. Boy was that a real pain in the neck.
