Actually, absolutely no one cares about Palestians and certainly no one wants them. Arabs could have long ago either absorbed them or carved out territory for them but have refused to do so. Instead, they’re used as pawns in the eternal conflicts of the region.

No news outlet is covering the story happening right now about how the Syrian Army is erasing the old PLO (”Refugee”) camp called “Yarmouk”. Bulldozing it and destroying it. Where is the outrage Turkey, where?

And even as pawns, their usefulness is coming to an end. A stable Israel is infinitely preferable as a neighbour and sub rosa occasional operational ally than a Palestinian state that will never be stable or useful in dealing with threats from Iran or ISIS.
