First Lady Melania Trump is in recovery after undergoing a “successful” kidney surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Her communications director, Stephanie Grisham, released a statement Monday saying that the first lady will likely remain hospitalized for the rest of the week as she recovers.
“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition,” the statement said. “The procedure was successful and there were no complications. Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”(continued)

It looks like she had some kind of a nonmalignant growth that could have become malignant and they blocked an artery that fed the growth to kill it. Seems to have been a fairly major procedure since I once had a malignant bladder tumor removed with day surgery and she’s spending the rest of the week in the hospital to recover.
Thank God it was caught early..My cousin a few years ago found out accidentally(Went in for a CT-Scan for his spleen) and found out he had a tumor on his kidney..he also had a scope put in and the tumor removed..its a rare thing but it does happen. She probably had symptoms, back pain that alerted docs that something wasn’t right

Thank god no Obamacare and the fact she can stay in the hospital as long as she wants. Most get an overnight maybe.

I have heard of people not getting enough fluids after the stomach virus, and needing kidney surgery. Could that be it? Prayers up fro her.
