I don’t only mean their immigrants, ethnic Europeans are pretty much in the anti-American column too.They have been, for MANY decades. This is not new. I was stationed in Germany, from 80 to 84. There was lots of anti American rhetoric back then.

Yes, of course, my uncle was stationed there in the late 50’s and said as much.
Americans like to think we have a bond with Europe because so many of us see ourselves as English, Irish, German etc., they don’t see us that way.
