I think Coxis the best chance the conservstive Republicans have to elect a California governor in some time.He’s gained tremendous steam in recent weeks and he’s running solely on conservstive principals. He hasnt shown himself to be a mushy middle moderate like the last several Reublican gubnatorial candidates we have had.
Plus Newsome is not as popular as people think. Go on his Facebook page and see the sea of harsh, negative coments. He’s running soley on liberal social issues and identity politics (LGTB issues, all Californians should speak spanish, pro abortion, free needles for the homeless, etc). People here are worried about being able to afford keeping their homes, about runaway taxes, about the homeless being in every community in this state and they oppose this sanctuary state crap. Californians may actually had enough....We’ll find out for sure in November.
DiFi could get re-elected if she were dead.
Of course if this happens when the LA Times chosen candidate was on the ballot they _might_ actually do some investigative reporting and cover her death!
On the other hand they may not be able to help themselves—as a reflex they might start attacking anyone who said she was dead as “extreme right wing conspiracy theorists in a nefarious alliance with Russian social media bots”. ;-)
