A new bombshell report reveals that the FBI may have had a mole embedded in the Trump campaign.
In an opinion piece published in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday, Kimberly Strassel unpacked some stunning developments in the battle between the Department of Justice and House Intelligence Committee members.
House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, D-Calif., and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., received a classified briefing at the DOJ on Thursday, viewing classified documents about a top-secret intelligence source that was part of the FBI probe of the Trump campaign.
According to Strassels Wall Street Journal piece:
The department knew full well it should have turned this material over to congressional investigators last year, but instead deliberately concealed it.
House investigators nonetheless sniffed out a name, and Mr. Nunes in recent weeks issued a letter and a subpoena demanding more details. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensteins response was to double downaccusing the House of extortion and delivering a speech in which he claimed that declining to open the FBIs files to review is a constitutional duty. Justice asked the White House to back its stonewall. And it even began spinning that daddy of all superspook argumentsthat revealing any detail about this particular asset could result in loss of human lives.
This is desperation, and it strongly suggests that whatever is in these files is going to prove very uncomfortable to the FBI.
Nunes could not view the information because it apparently could risk lives by potentially exposing the source, a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
This would amount to spying, and it is hugely disconcerting. It would also be a major escalation from the electronic surveillance we already knew about, which was bad enough, Strassel noted. Now we find it may have also been rolling out human intelligence, John Le Carré style, to infiltrate the Trump campaign.
I believe I know the name of the informant, but my intelligence sources did not provide it to me and refuse to confirm it, Strassel wrote. It would therefore be irresponsible to publish it.
But what is clear is that weve barely scratched the surface of the FBIs 2016 behavior, and the country will never get the straight story until President Trump moves to declassify everything possible, she concluded. Its time to rip off the Band-Aid.
Misdirection.
The Kenyanesian Usurper could not have done what he did without the cooperation of the GOP.
Bush League Republicans need to become extinct politically.
Just do it already
not sure about “entrapment” in re counterintel

I know how to them flush out..

You got it. It’s Halper.
And .. who received the spy’s reports?
BTW - Fire Mueller.
This is a really big deal.
About 100 times worse than Watergate.
Add Carter Page to the possible mole list. He has been on and off as an FBI informant/useful idiot, IMHO.
We know that Stefan Halper met with Page and Papadolplous under false pretenses
He also met with one unnamed Trump official
That official is most likely Michael Cohen
Obama always has the goods on his rivals. It is his MO from the beginning.
It would only be surprising if he didn’t have his rivals surveilled.
So, yes, I haven’t the slightest doubt he had Trump and his inner circle surveilled, wiretapped, followed, infiltrated, both with and without warrants, both using official assets and others not even Mueller or Brennan know about. Its the way Obama (or rather, Obama’s handlers) operate.

Sorry, this info is from the above post 33 link.
So who was the first swamp critter to stand next to Trump?
Sessions.
As an example, suppose Halper contacts Page out of the blue where Page has no idea why he's being contacted by Halper. He agrees to meet out of curiosity. During that meeting, Halper incidentally remarks, "You know about that Russian hacking of DNC emails, right?" This could actually be the first time that Page hears the notion of Russian hacking of emails. Now, with the thought planted in his mind, Page may say to someone else a week or two later, "Did you hear about Russian hacking of campaign emails?"
And just like that, he's now a suspect in the conspiracy and a target of communication intercepts.
I'm not saying that's how it went down (I haven't memorized the timeline of events), but Sundance is saying that Halper was the guy (in a Kevin Costner No Way Out kind of way) whose job was to create "implications" on people.

Conservative Treehouse deduced thus a couple of months ago. I think they think it is Carter Page. Page is one of the people they tapped, so it would make sense to have him trying to get into upper level conversations.
