The ever well meaning Starbucks chairman, Howie Schultz, more terrified of bad publicity and claims of racism than anything in the world, has just announced a rather customer-unfriendly policy of opening Starbucks bathrooms (as well as table space) to all comers, including people who won't spring for a $4 cup of coffee. Speaking to the Atlantic Council, Schultz said:
"We don't want to become a public bathroom, but we're going to make the right decision a hundred percent of the time and give people the key," Schultz said, "because we don't want anyone at Starbucks to feel as if we are not giving access to you to the bathroom because you are less than."
Well, yes, you do, Howie. If you open the bathrooms to all comers, including non-paying customers, you're turning Starbucks into a public bathroom. The fact that Starbucks will be the only business with such a policy means that all of the homeless will concentrate in these outlets. Rival store-owners and social service agencies will actually direct the homeless to Starbucks outlets for the free services. Large groups will congregate, moms with strollers drinking lattes and buying their little ones apple sauce in packets will sit cheek to jowl with hardcore drug-addicted homeless and now entertain requests for spare change.
So is Starbucks prepared to corral its baristas into double-duty, non-stop bathroom cleaning from those who choose to camp out on its grounds? Schultz is not stupid and probably knows what he is doing. It's easy to lean on the baristas for more work in disgusting tasks such as cleaning up after the homeless when they already work extremely hard at making coffee. I can't see baristas being happy about this, so in any case, so look to unionization efforts to take hold, too.

Infiltrate leftist forums and shame them into continuing to patronize Starbucks. Make them every kind of nasty leftist -ism in the world if they try to stop going. Rub their faces in it.
“Homeless” have been showing up for years along major thoroughfares in upscale southern suburbs, precisely where Starbucks are located. I wouldn’t bet on that.
If they are going to let them use the table space, they should at least give them a cup of coffee! Jeez, what cheapskates!!!

So many proggie business leaders (master degreed from lefty universities, I’m sure) are sickening the businesses they lead, while their rich proggie board members gleefully applaud. That’s lunacy, folks.
Funny you should ask! According to my friend who owns 2 cafes, DD’s coffee is superior to most others due to how they purchase their beans. I am not sure about roasting, which is important, but DD has the best coffee next to a real cafe’s and way higher quality than lame, overpriced starpukes!
And these kinds of people (Leftists like the dummy Howie Schultz) want to be the ones to run foreign affairs, execute wars, run the economy, enforce laws, and so on.
They want to put their hands on the levers of power and force us to do their bidding, and they wonder why we don’t just buckle under and do what they want us to do?

If Starbucks customers had wanted to mingle with homeless people and hang around pubic toilets they wouldn’t have been coming to Starbucks to hang out.

What no free showers for the homeless?
Oh freaking GROSS. Can you imagine using their bathroom after the homeless have defecated all over the toilet seat, floor, etc., used the sink to wash their louse-filled hair in, and urinated over everything? I predict no PAYING customer will want to use the bathrooms after that.
No free coffee and snacks? How cold. How heartless. How does starbucks get off with being so insensitive to the plight of others?
And those hand drying air blowing machines suck the cr@@p particles in and blow them out at high speed.
This won’t last long.
Even stupid people are capable of learning this lesson.
