Sweet ride but I have always hated those stock rims/wheel covers and red line sidewalls on the ‘Vettes of that era. So damned ugly.
At the time, that was not at all the case. That was one cool car, from the ground, up.
There was a 63 coupe that was a GM executive wife’s car at a Corvette show several years back. It had the original pink paint (I believe they mixed in fish scales to give it a pearl appearance). The amazing thing it still had the original tires which were special order pink stripe sidewalls. The tire manufacturer made them just for this car. It was a very stunning looking car.
The 67 rally wheel option was much better looking base wheel than the 65 wheel covers and better than the 66 wheel covers IMHO.
Not wild about the color.
