It’s difficult to have reasonable discussions with liberal or Democrat types, because too many of them have a childlike view of the world, and of issues.
They look at things from black/white perspectives, and there are no nuances.
Pick an issue, and you can see how they are.
On illegal immigration, we are cruel and want to break up families and all that, if we want immigration laws enforced.
If you oppose or have any doubts about this transsexual business, men in the ladies room, etc. you are labeled a hater and bigot. Any discussion of issues involved is not permitted.
If you oppose all this global warming stuff, similarly, you hate the environment, and you actually want a despoiled environment.
Related to that, you can’t engage a conversation of what benefits fossil fuels have brought to mankind, and how to balance that against demands to do away with fossil fuel use. Because there are no nuances or details or offsetting concerns in the liberal world.
You can’t even discuss natural disasters, because they have decided that all natural disasters are exacerbated by global warming. And if you disagree with that flawed premise, you are a heretic right off the bat. End of discussion. Again, no discussion of other factors is permitted.
