So we may be able to see some big media events of NK handing over a few nukes and missiles along with dismantling a few facilities. N. Korea may want to stop there and U.S. would obviously want to go much further.

Now we’re talking serious.

Give them food, and a few launches on FalconX.

Isn’t going to be easy.....his engineers/scientists have been suckling at that nuclear nipple for decades.......Can’t say how many of the creeps behind the scenes I’ve heard flaunt the fact they have them and with such arrogance.
More importantly is how far is china’s Xi really going to stall everything as he positions as much leverage as he can along the way.

Rocket Boy is going to meet Trump in Singapore. Isn’t that where his agents offed his brother with nerve gas? I wonder what the notoriously strict law and order government of Singapore thinks about hosting someone who suborned murder in their jurisdiction?

That happened at an airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital. It is a next door neighbor, though. NK reportedly has a major South East hub of overseas operation there. So does U.S.. Probably far larger in scale.
Having the summit in Singapore is a win for Trump. He yanked Kim out of his comfort zone: Pyongyang, Panmunjom, and to a lesser degree some place in China. Singapore leans heavily toward U.S..

Their nuclear engineers would probably just move to a Chinese Research city, if forced to leave the country.

That is a real possibility now that I think about it. In that case, China will decide how many of them would be allowed to return. Another bargaining chip for China. However, NK may want to keep their mouth shut even to Chinese regarding details on NK program. At least the life of some of them would be in danger.

I think dispersal of personnel is a bad idea. A few key players disappear and whoops, bigger problem.
Its just safer to build them a golf community and let them sunset as a group.
I suspect they took the jobs because their families were richly rewarded but why let them out in the world with the proven skills the have?

After WW2 Nazi scientists moved to the US and helped us in our nuclear program. Nork scientists could do the same for us. They could start out here as dishwashers/cooks in Korean restaurants. I’m sure it would be a step up. Korean food is really good. Just have the local cops eat there and give up the doughnuts.

Will all y’all with “nuclear engineering” degrees please raise your hand? At the power plant, in a cadre of engineers, only a handful are “nuclear engineers”.

Correct. Many of them could go to Iran. A better idea is we demand they be sent to NK “re-education camps”.

Heck, those same Nazi scientists helped us get to the moon. A number of pages in the Right Stuff explicitly mentioned the krauts. Von Braun in particular.

Ok then. We have a place for them here but their programs in the infantile stage. I’m sure they have something to offer though.

I knew a couple of American physicists who worked for many years at advancing the science of what they called "urban relocation." It occurred to me that I was happy they were on our side, and had stable, financially solvent lives.
Find out what the Nork nuclear engineers and scientists want, and give it to them -- if they stay out of the nuclear business.
