A few years ago, after Joel Ward scored the winning goal for the Capitals in Game 7 of a playoff series in Boston, the racism of the Bruins fans was on full display - that night, at the arena, and then also for a full week or more afterward the game was over.
Such behavior was not surprising, though, since the most racist people in the entire country live in Boston, Massachusetts (at least in my experience).
I honestly do not think racism is rampant in the NHL. I am sure it is present in some areas of the country (mostly in the north) but it is not everywhere.
I would say Boston and the east coast cities from DC to Portland. Yet they are the ones foisting “racism” on the rest of us. Their racism is a worse kind then found in the south. In the east the libs get to live separately with no interaction with most minorities but especially blacks. But then they get to live separately from the white trash too.
