My husband and I have stood outside the big glass windows at Fox News HQ in NYC a few times while 'The Five' has been filming live. Another job you may enjoy is that of stagehand (?). I have to assume that's what the job title is.
Before the show goes live, and as soon as they're off the air at 6:00 pm ET, the stagehands have to hook up / remove the mikes from each host / guest. The women usually wear dresses, so this means the stagehands have to run their hands up the skirts of the women to disconnect the wires to their lapel mikes.
If you're ever in NYC, go to the FNC HQ on Sixth Ave., and stand outside the glassed-in studio where The Five is run live. At 6:00 pm, all or most of the hosts come outside and greet any fans that are standing there. They will pose for pics with you.
We have photos of my husband posing with Kimberly Guilfoyle, taken over the years a few times. Hubby's friends were awed and jealous! :-D
Kimberly looks like a human Barbie doll up close. Very attractive but kind of extreme looking. She was super nice... seemed to be the same 'in real life' as she appears on air.
Thank you for that little anecdote - so I suppose at Fox when one reaches up a skirt, it had better be for a microphone or you’ll end up like O’Reilly.
I’ve heard Kimberly is somewhere in the 49yo age bracket. Pretty amazing looking regardless of how she does it. ;-)
