I went to her Wiki page, as I had no idea what she looked like and what her background was. She comes from a family of liberal ‘activists’, and wore a black arm band to protest the Vietnam war when she was in 9th grade. Seems like her whole life has been around liberals and liberal causes. I doubt she has every really spent time trying to understand and hear the thoughts of those she doesn't agree with.

Her mother was Ann Richards, the Democrat governor of Texas that Bush defeated. Her daughter worked for Clinton and Kaine.
