A couple weeks ago, my 13-year-old daughter found a homophobic slur scribbled in her textbook. I wanted to tell her things will get better that there's no place for language like that and that whoever wrote the word will understand someday.
But how can I tell her that when a state Assemblywoman has repeatedly used homophobic slurs to describe her colleagues? Worse, how do I tell her that Californians don't accept that type of behavior when that legislators party is willing to give her a pass?

What does Donald Trump have to do with the actions of a California legislator that resides some 3,000 miles from Washington DC? More importantly this columnist is using his position of white privilege to attack a Latina office holder. He also is attacking her culture which appears not to appreciate "homos". Embrace diversity.

The Dems have a coalition of the fringes. Their problem is that Hispanics don’t much like gay people. If they champion gays at the expense of Hispanics, some Hispanics will peel away and either not vote or vote GOP.
Dollars to donuts, the kid wrote it herself.
Your poor snowflake daughter. How horrible for her. Make sure you don't show her this thread. It would probably throw her into catatonia.
Time was Lenny Bruce was arrested in bars for saying things like ‘c@clsucker’. Now teachers and ‘guides’ teach 13 year olds about it and encourage homosexual experimentation
Sticks and stones..
STICKS AND STONES, you blithering idiot!!
Just WHAT kind of helpless, hopeless creature are you trying to raise?????
You left out poofter, back door bandit, bull dyke, woopsie, Sodomite and Gaystapo.
Its the same hypocrisy (hypocrisy should be their motto, as they have no shame for it) which will allow them to actually celebrate the horrendous murder of innocent life in the womb, while opposing the just execution, after a swift but fair trial, of the most monstrous murderers. The hypocrisy which will purport to uphold the working class, while clamoring to bring in those who take their jobs. And, the hypocrisy which again allows them to support inner-city criminals murdering children, the elderly, and other civilians, while calling for the heads of the LE who are the only ones who try, however imperfectly, to protect and defend the innocent, by taking the murderers off the streets by any legal means necessary. The elites of the left must believe that somehow theyre going to be immune from the world they themselves are creating. How surprised and fearful they will be to learn that, au contraire, they will be its first and easiest victims.
BTW: the offending word was.............. Homo
I swear I saw that ‘acme fudge packer’ meme in the late 90’s as the internet really started to take off. Never gets old, though!
Bugger!
Honestly, I don't think they recognize it in themselves as they are completely deluded. Perhaps I'm offering excuses.
A Democrat Latina bashes gays, and that’s Trump’s fault somehow? That’s quite a reach.
Dont forget turd burglar, fudge packer, and butt pirate.
“Rick Zbur is a distinguished lawyer with a long history of advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, and environmental causes.”
In other words, a sodomite fudge packer.
Attention Demons: PLEASE giver her, Joy Reid and others like them a pass so we can continue to show the world that your race/homophobe card is a complete farce.
