Hugh Hewitt is not now and never was a Trump fan. He is deeply dishonest because he is an elitist snob and closet NeverTrumper who hid behind claiming he was neutral and “didn’t have a dog in the fight” crap. He is still deeply anti Trump while pretending to be even handed.
I used to listen to HH while I lived in CA and have turned him off for the most part when he became so anti-Trump.I share your opinion of him. I listened today as I knew he would have his usual whining media guests on. Mike Gallagher was on after HH and he really called him out for his comments that is was “unconstitutional”for POTUS to remove Press credentials.
