Mike Braun is currently ahead with 41%
Braun was a Democrat legislator.
Good!! We need to win every seat!!
Coburn.. the spending hawk? That piqued my interest, but we have no wall, Obamacare and trillions in chuck n Nancy spending.. with no wall.
I’m wondering, Is Braun going to be for Trump? Rick Scott ad was on talking about bringing Businesspeople to Washington DC and term limits. He’ll be a great Senator...
Outsider, the most Trumpish...yes!
Business background self funded campaign He is difference from Trump in that he did sever a couple of terms in the IN Legilsator while Trump held no previous office.
He sounds very Trump like to me.
False. Braun was a GOP Legilsator in IN.
Blankenship-why couldn’t he start lower by running for a house seat? Senate’s the big leagues. Too important. He could have dealt with his past and paid his dues by winning at a lower level. Same for that former rat running for Senate in Wisc. Young fella.
One of the things I look at when voting is whether or not a primary candidate can beat the incumbent. I hope that whoever wins will be a true conservative that can beat Joe Donnelly.
You mean the Buckley rule. Not enough of the people here are aware or believe in it.
Donnley is the most vulnerable Senate Dem. Even Karl Rove thought any of the three in IN had a solid chance to beat him.
Funny how the crowd at NRO forget the Buckley rule.
Vote for the most Conservative candidate who can win the General election.
I’m sorry, but I don’t give a rat’s rear end what KR thinks about a dang thing. Seriously. And I could say the same thing about pretty much any pundit. Rove is part of the GOP-E. I’m sick of them all, and I have been for many, many years.
Point was all the GOP-e types here were whining about how bad Bruan is. I pointed out even their god KR thinks Braun has a very good shot at being the next Senator from IN
Oh, I see. I guess I’ve been busy enough not to notice all the whining going on in IN. Hoosiers don’t strike me as the whiny type, so you must be referring to GOP-e from other places discussing the primary in IN.
Is he ready for prime time and the focus that this race is going to place on him? It only took one slip for Donnelly to take the race last time. And after a campaign where all three candidates ripped each other up Donnelly has a lot of ammunition to use.
Yeah ready for prime time. He is actually a pretty likeable fellow. That will help him in IN. I am from the Upper Midwest. He is the sort of Republican likely to win in these states.
Personally I never understood it but “likeabilty” is important in many of these sort of races. Donnley isn’t a strident in your face sort of Dem
McConnell does. Rove does. The Bushes do.
Do you figure Buckley would have endorsed Donald Trump?
