The only thing America’s “closest allies” give a shit about are the trade deals they’ll get with Iran. They known full well that when eventually someone has to go in and deal with a nuclear armed Iran it will be the Americans that will have to expend blood and treasure. Trump did the right thing. What I wished he would have added to his statement was that the United States would provide unlimited military assistance to Israel, up to and including a nuclear response, in the event that Iran or any of their proxies launched any military reprisals against Israel.
