Following the identification of irregular activity of Iranian forces in Syria, the IDF has decided to change the civilian protection instructions in the Golan Heights and instructs local authorities to unlock and ready shelters in the area.
The Israeli public should remain attentive to IDF instructions that will be given if necessary.
The IDF has also deployed Iron Dome anti missile systems across the north of Israel as a protective measure against expected Rocket fire from Syria, and IDF troops are on high alert for an attack.
The IDF is prepared for various scenarios and warns that any aggression against Israel will be met with a severe response.
The retaliation to the retaliation to the retaliation to the retaliation is about to come. Let us know how it turns out.
Interesting.
Actions often speak more accurately than words.
Go Israel, but, uh....no reason for US troops to get involved.
There is much turmoil in Israel today. Israel is persecuted, surrounded by enemiesSyria, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, etc. But this hatred and persecution of Israel is only a hint of what will happen in the end times (Matthew 24:15-21). The latest round of persecution began when Israel was reconstituted as a nation in 1948. Many Bible prophecy scholars believed the six-day Arab-Israeli war in 1967 was the “beginning of the end.” Could what is taking place in Israel today indicate that the end is near? Yes. Does it necessarily mean the end is near? No. Jesus Himself said it best, “Watch out that no one deceives you. . . . You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come” (Matthew 24:4-6).

I agree, but I think we will, cause Israel, and the IDF is not what it was, their opponents are gaining in competence, or both. The IDF was handled roughly in 2006 in Lebanon. They have reason to fear the Shi’ites, who have a modicum of patience and discipline which the Sunni riff raff do not.
Disagree. The only group that has ever given Israel a problem has been Jordan and Jordan was a little half-hearted. There is no match for the Israeli AF in the area. Syria isn’t in a place where they can do anything. Egypt has bigger threats to deal with.
They say the enemy is Israel but they know groups like ISIS are the real enemy.
Disagree as you wish. Israelis themselves consider 2006 a fiasco, and it was.
An Israeli/Iranian confrontation has been brewing since Iran captured the Albu Kamal border crossing between Iraq and Syria early this year, and started massing their rocket forces along the Israeli border.
Supposedly, Iran wanted to wait to attack until after the Lebanese elections (now done), and President Trump’s decision on the Iranian nuclear deal (JCPOA) was also a big unknown that they were wary of screwing up.
Now the tables are cleared of those concerns, but Iran should be even more worried about what is coming, in terms of sanctions or other new pressures. Trump might (should) have the Mullahs mighty worried about missteps now, with the stakes going up so quickly.
After many years, it suddenly looks like the Iranian/North Korean nuclear program is getting pulled out from under them. The Norks may implicate the Iranians publicly, as part of their deal. The re-imposition of sanctions means that their economy will lurch toward collapse, and their population might well revolt in force. They may not be able to afford getting their forces pinned down in Syria, if they need to bring them home for crowd control.
After many years of kicking the can down the road until an adult was elected.

1. IAF struck an Iranian convoy shortly after the bomb shelter alert was made. Pending confirmation is a second strike on the south side of Damascus.
2. IDF calling up selected reserve forces.
3. RUMINT concerning Iranian military movement opposite the Golan.
Within 25 minutes of Trump announcing the US withdrawal from the Iran deal based on Netanyahu’s top secret info, Israel bombs Damascus.
I am not amused with the Neocon I voted for thinking he would be a voice of Sanity and not a Neocon.
The way I see it, the Persians never had to answer for holding our embassy staff hostage or humiliating our patrol boat crew or the deaths of our soldiers by Iranian rockets and Iranian designed IED’s.
Wouldn’t hurt my feelings if a couple of hundred Tomahawks made their way into Iran.
Just as long as we don’t get into it— let them fight it out. We have no business there.
We owe Iran big time. They were the instigators of the Marine Barracks bombing in Lebanon.
I hate them. I would be happy if someone set off a few H-bombs in certain locations.
