Vance is the one who refused to pursue charges against Harvey Weinstein in 2015. From what I've read, Weinstein's attorney was a donor to Vance's campaign funds coffer, and turned a blind eye toward the allegations. Some reports said Vance was supposed to be investigated for this. It appears that nothing was done since he's now involved with the Schneiderman case. If anything, Vance should recuse himself since he's already proven he can be bought.
