Very good point. If Blankenship is leading but truly has a cap of less than 50 percent, it would seem to be up to the other two to decide whether they both lose or one drops out and makes it a winnable two person race. Blankenship doesn't seem to be near as big of a problem as the selfishness of the other two.

Trump could secure the exit of one of the candidates by promising future endorsements for political office. The question, really, is what a future Trump endorsement is worth, given the way political winds shift. Political office being what it is - a complete break from whatever career ladder you were on - I can’t blame these guys for persisting. Going back to whatever they were doing, whatever number of years ago, would be a major demotion.
