Some people might be space aliens who have problems deciphering the current polite conventions on Planet Earth. Isn’t “nigger” the word for black? Why can’t we call blacks “niggers”? Isn’t “Jap” short for Japan, which is actually the accepted English name for the country? Why can’t we call them “Japs”? Weren’t many Italians actually thugs or pimps (guappo)? Why can’t we call them “wops”?
