.Republican Fears About Holding The Senate Start To Sink In

.Democrats are going into the 2018 elections with the wind at their backs, which could even be enough to flip a Senate map heavily stacked for Republicans come November.

In conversations with several top GOP strategists, nearly all conceded that the overwhelming Democratic enthusiasm they're facing this November is incredibly worrisome. Most still think it's a better than even chance that they do keep the Senate — albeit narrowly — but it's no longer out of the realm of possibility that the upper chamber could change hands, especially given the volatility of the GOP's two-seat majority.

McConnell wants to lose seats so it looks more plausible to stymie Trump and the deplorables.

If I were a Democrat in the Senate, I would hope for a Republican majority. Those R’s are completely without backbone and will continue to give us everything we demand, and then some, just to prove they are non-partisan, can reach across the aisle, are true sportsmen, and really hate Trump. So what’s not to like? I would win either way. This is so completely a no-brainer, even a caveman could do it!

Republicans need to keep in mind that the Fake News Media will do everything possible to instill defeatism in them.

Npr should be defunded. It is national Propaganda radio!! The republicans will absolutely gain seatsin the Senate. Some experts project huge gains of 9 to 12 seats. Npr is trying to suppresss voters and should be charged with fec violations for free radio commercials for the communists!!

This headline is unintentionally accurate. They would prefer to lose control, or, short of that, elect enough moderates to vote with the democrats.

McConnell likes being Majority Leader, but doesn’t want to advance a conservative agenda.

“Democrats are going into the 2018 elections with the wind at their backs, which could even be enough to flip a Senate map heavily stacked for Republicans “

“map heavily stacked for Republicans”

I don’t know about “the wind at their backs”, but they definitely have “wind” at their backsides.

Do the people that write this TRASH actually believe it, or is it all propaganda?

Tomorrow’s a good one — West Virginia Repub primary.

Blankenship is an “I’m mad as h***, and I’m not going to take it anymore!” candidate.

He’s outspent his rivals and has been gaining in the polls.

The GOP pundits think he’d be destroyed by Manchin.

After Alabama, maybe they’re right.

Personally, I no longer care. They’ve shown no loyalty to me (or Trump) and I no longer care what happens to them. The best thing that could happen MAY be a blue wave. It would sweep a lot of bad RINOs out...the dems would take over. They would misread the signs and overplay their hand...like they always do...and in 2020 we may actually have a chance to put something together in Congress that looks like what we need.

The only message the Democrats have, is that Trump must be either nullified, ore driven from office altogether.

They do not even specify a reason WHY this should be done, only that Trump represents something that frightens them on a very visceral level. Trump does not “act right” for a Republican, he keeps going off on these tangents, and uses strategies that have left many liberals scratching their head, asking themselves, “What the hell just happened?”

It is difficult to legislate or litigate against a force of nature. Especially when the force of nature has veto power.

If one believes this, then one must believe that the Democrat platform of more taxes, more illegal immigrants, more welfare, more taking away Second Amendment rights, a war on God and a more unsafe world is what the people want.

Republican Fears About Holding The Senate Start To Sink In

_______________________________________________________

The GOP is not that worried. That happens when you really aren’t that different than the Dems. If they were worried, they’d do something about it.

I think NOR is trying to talk everybody into believing this. The facts are the opposite. Far more vulnerable Democrats in the Senate are up for re-election than Republicans. The Republicans have more cash on hand. The lead the Democrats had among likely voters has all but evaporated in recent months as the economy has steadily gained steam.

Then there is the matter of Leftist overreach on gun grabbing. NRA membership has exploded and you can bet those people will be highly motivated to show up in November. The Democrats need to hope they don’t lose a few seats in the Senate.
