I am not impressed by Giuliani. His mind is not as sharp as it used to be. He should never have gone on Hannity if he didn’t have his facts straight.
I see the anti-Giuliani “He wore a dress’’ crowd is monitoring the hallways.
I agree with you. He may be caught into the same ‘Vanity Trap’ as Sheriff Arpaio, who remains tied up in the pursuit of lost causes, such as Obama’s Birth Certificates, and is the only one who doesn’t get the futility of that effort. Giuliani thinks he’s winning by scrambling or confusing perceptions. Not necessarily.
I predict (I hope) by Wednesday, we will be seeing a lot less Rudy on the TV in reference to the President. Remember when KellyAnne Conway had a string of ‘mis-statements’ or unclear messages. She was pulled off the front lines for a while.
It happens to all of us, even the heavy hitters like Giuliani. Simply put, Rudy is not helping at this time.
Those of us who support this president, do no favors by remaining blind to the overall effect.
I have been very impressed with how Giuliani was as a prosecutor in the old days, exceptionally impressed with how he cleaned up NYC, and very impressed with Mayor Giuliani during and after 9/11/01.
But his recent appearances have me a bit worried. He does seem to have lost some of his sharpness from just a few years ago. Hope I'm completely wrong on this, and that he and President Trump emerge from this insane witch hunt with a big victory.
I am impressed with Rudy. I wonder if you listened to the full interview. You would have seen that Rudy held his facts concerning the Witch Hunt well. His words flowed out with no absence of thought even when Stephanopoulos used the interruption tactic to cloud Rudy's facts. The laughs were very appropriate and signaled to the public that Stephy's questions were idiotic talking points by the smear campaign. I laughed myself when I heard them. Didn't you?

I agree. He was obviously not well prepared, and to me he seemed to be floundering around and clueless. Not an encouraging performance in my view.
