Trump wont talk. He’s just putting out a hypothetical that he would like to talk if Mueller could be fair and unbiased. Of couse, Mueller and his team can never be fair and unbiased. The media can go on and on and say that Mueller is a Republican, marine and former FBI director, but that can’t cover his conduct and the makeup of his team.
Trump will keep saying that he wants to talk and is trying to work things out with Mueller, even if he gets a subpoena. Meanwhile, Trump won’t talk to Mueller, he’ll keep talking down Mueller to the public, and send the case up to the SC. I’m sure he’s done this type of thing with people in business. Say that you want to work with them, all the while criticizing their integrity and conduct.
The advantage that Trump has is that Mueller can’t defend himself in public. If he were to attack Trump, that proves Trump’s point. Only the media can defend Mueller.
