ELECT THE ELECT
Who be the leaders of our land
who walk in grace and understand
the deeds they do for all to see
should guarantee our liberty
The upright man who loves the Lord
who’s righteousness is like a sword
is best equipped to lead the way
who’s not afraid to fight or pray
Lord help us find our country’s best
let men of honor pass the test
then guide them in the work they do
and lead our country back to YOU
Our President we put in power
protect him in this perilled hour
our enemies seem every where
we trust our nation to Your care.
