An FBI official says the bureau is not working to collect messages between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, despite the request to do so from a top Republican senator as well as evidence suggesting they communicated about work-related matters on non-FBI accounts.
In a letter this week to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Charles Thorley, the acting assistant director of the FBIs office of congressional affairs, said FBI employees are required to adhere to record keeping policies in place where communications constitute records under the Federal Records Act.
But Thorley said the FBI is not otherwise obligated to collect and/or retain all communications between its employees.

All that already exists in the original legislation. Why its not being enforced says more about the current AG then anything else.
We effectively haven’t had an AG for 9 years!

Such action will require DOJ to seek a warrant from a judge.
They will never make the inquiry of their own volition. Even though there is sufficient probable cause.

It needs to be done in such a way that no one ever forgets the results of denying congress information permitted under the Constitution.NOTHING will make these ass hats toe the line, until they are told to turn around and cuff up.

The swamp creature Sessions is calling the shots period. The sham recusal only puts a fig leaf over his culpability.
