He’s right....and I was a Girl Scout for 11 years from 1958 to 1969....endured being made fun of even...but, was one of the best experiences of my life. What GS is today is a travesty.

A lot of girls will flee the “cookies & crafts” for the lure of “serious outdoors”, cutting their numbers even more.
I just hope the Refugee Paradox doesn’t result in [Boy] Scouts being watered-down just because girls, who came expecting high adventure, find the boys’ activities rougher & harder than the girls want. Like my view of women in the military: they’re welcome to come, but don’t expect lowering of standards - and yes there are differences between the genders.
