The United States has issued a formal warning to China after personnel at the Chinese military base in Djibouti used lasers to interfere with U.S. military aircraft, giving two pilots minor injuries, according to the Pentagon.

Top Defense Department spokeswoman Dana White told reporters Thursday that the U.S. is confident the Chinese are behind the “very serious incidents,” which have increased in the past few weeks.

“There have been two minor injuries. This activity poses a true threat to our airmen. We have formally demarched the Chinese government. And we’ve requested that the Chinese investigate these incidents,” White said during a Pentagon briefing.

China should not attack the US. They have too much to lose.

If they do it again, lob a couple of Tomahawks onto that laser site and wipe it out.

That was a hostile act against our planes, and country.

We could bomb the areas the lasers originated from.

Or, we could start blinding Chinese pilots that fly over US interests.

Ugh on the choices, but I’m sure they’d understand.

It could be that messages of “be aggressive” vs “don’t rock the boat” take a while to travel from Xi at the top to the ranks on the ground.

Be a shame if a few laser-guided munitions were to “accidently” follow those beams home.

A real tragedy

Excuse me? You have the wrong administration. Obama is gone. North Korea is capitulating, Syria is picking up its dead and Jerusalem is now the capital of Israel. Either you are smoking too much pot or you are a liberal troll.

We’re Americans. Our ways of dealing with foreign relations are different from the ways of other nations and have been all along.
