Given the statute of limitations, it's not possible for Moore to be charged, arrested, arraigned, trialed, or convicted. It is unseemly that we hold one set of rules for a court of law, and a different set of rules for ruining a man's life in a public spectacle.
Both women would have been destroyed in a courtroom because neither are credible when you look at their lives. This is the very reason they attempted no legal recourse at the time. The shame is that they can't both be thrown in prison for trying it now.
