That is a lot for one person to learn. Not to mention self-defense. Self-defense would be a lot easier in a community as well. But then you have to wonder if you can truly trust all of your community members.
Its enough to make you paranoid. And crazy. I have to just rely on God and faith, as well as prepping :-)

One of the best plans is to have a sense of community of like minded souls, with various skills, a common spiritual/ or religious belief;
but never lay out your full hand.
