Well, I’m in a unique position. Where we live, the only internet options are cell phone or satellite (we live in the sticks)
We got an AT&T 22 gig data plan that is $70 less than our old 40 gig plan, but better. The old plan throttled us at 40 gig. The new one throttles us at 22 gig if, and only if, there is congestion. But we live in the sticks and pull our signal from a nearby tower on a two lane highway. There is never congestion.
With the old plan, just watching a youtube video made a dent in our monthly allotment. Now, we watch Amazon Prime on our smart TV to our heart’s content. This has been going on for a year. We even get blue ray picture quality. And I’m running Pandora or youtube three hours a day on my commute.
Three phone lines and the data plan are around $200 a month. The third phone line is our old LG G3 stuck to a window that is our Wi-Fi hotspot for our computers and smart TV.
This may not work for people in cities.
Ok thanks for the info
