I stopped watching “Dr. Phil” a long time ago as I got the distinct impression that he was/is:

1. Henpecked
2. A touchy-feely, bleeding heart, left winger.

His show has become as predictable as “Pawn Stars”.

I don’t know if his latest diatribe is trying get Kanye to stop dissing liberals, or, to stop supporting Trump...or both.

Consider the demographics of Dr Phil’s audience. That’s who he CANNOT afford to alienate, and still have a career.

I stopped watching “Dr. Phil” a long time ago as I got the distinct impression that he was/is:

An upscale Jerry Springer.

I can't stand the guy but wifey watches him religiously, then during a commercial break, comes into The Den frothing at the mouth about some idiot/loser who was on the show. I just nod my head and say "yes dear" a few times until she calms down.

I watched part of the show one time and nearly hit the ceiling for a different reason. There was some young guy on, with his ex-wife claiming child molestation. The poor dupe said that he believed a lie detector test would prove his innocence - and he failed.

The "expert" who gave the test said that the guy gave indications that he was trying to cheat (no examples) and that there were websites that instructed you on how to beat the Machine. Dr. Phil turns to the guy and asks if he had a computer. The guy says "yes" and Dr. Phil moves on, instead of asking if he visited that site.

I blew up at that point at this so-called "Doctor" using the implied guilt technique, by inferring with his question that the guy actually went there.

I would have asked the audience if they were aware on how they were manipulated, then pull the same on the ex and Dr. Phil. Ex: "There are websites that instruct you on how to file child molesting charges. Do you have a computer?" Then skip to the doc: "There are websites that tell you how to make big money being a TV evangelist - or a TV psychologist. Do you own a computer?"

I dunno if the guy was guilty of not, but I would have risen and told the audience that I subjected myself to a known flawed technology - and the show - in the hopes of getting a fair hearing. Since it was obvious things were rigged, I'm outta there.
