Dear Kanye,
Congratulations on your rebirth, your new found freedom; can we say your re-awakening as a manyour renaissance?
We embrace you, but warn you that from now on, as you process and apply your self-acquired knowledge, your life will be more and more like a Christian, living in Kabul.
You are Day 3 on the realty show, Naked and Afraid, and your partner has just left. Thats the bad news.
The good news is you could use 30 days in the urban desert alone. Can we suggest a huge time out, to get away from all this noise and all these people tugging at you from all sides?
There are two great reasons to livethe first is to "learn." Consider this your sabbatical, where you isolate yourself from naysayers, and just learn.
Read, think and study, and then go forth, young man, and teach others. Sounds like school? Maybe, but how about the ultimate school for someone like you, since you can afford it?
Were wondering, just for asking, if the people, (whom I list below), would each be willing to take you in as a special student for a few hours or days then direct you to the next person. We think they would.
You're already acquainted with the writer, educator, and economist Thomas Sowell. Lets start there. How about asking him, if he would take you in first.
72 hours with this great man, youre going to learn many many things. Followed then, about the same time, with another economist, Walter Williams.
These first six days will give you a good foundation about education, poverty and wealth, just to name a few things. These men will make you think, but they also have solutions, too.
Then a half day with Clarence Thomas, where you can learn of his transformation to conservative thought, and then dinner with Condoleeza Rice. She can bring you up to speed on the geo-political world out there, and you can play some music together over coffee and dessert, (she's a concert pianist, didn't you know?").
This would complete your first week.
We start your next seven days on an early morning walk with HUD Secretary Ben Carson, and then a quick lunch. Youll have the afternoon with Lt. Colonel Allen West then writer and educator Shelby Steele will pick you up for dinner, and you can spend a few in your face days with him.
We guarantee youll learn a thing or two about the current state of black protest in America, among many other things about your manhood. He might tear you down at first, but his intent is, as it is with all these teachers, to build you back up to ultimately be a stronger man.
Youll have to be strong. The list of your enemies is long and growing. Dont fear, weve got your back.
After your time with Shelby, your limo will take you to Judge Janice Rogers Browns chambers for a private breakfast, then a full day in her courtroom, then weve got dinner reservations for four---Larry Elder, Alan Keyes, Hermain Cain and you. Im sure, by now, youll be full of some questions, and you probably wont eat much. Ask them anything.
Get to bed early, because in the morning we have you scheduled for a work out with former star football players, J. C. Watts, Lynn Swann and Herschel walker, (better put on some footwear you can run in, instead of those Yeezys.)
Shower and dress up for lunch planned with two lovely ladies, comedian, actress and television host, Sheryl Underwood and syndicated columnist Star Parker. We know youll be anxious to tell them all the things youve learned thus far, so remember not to talk while you chew.
You have the rest of the day to yourself as you end week two.
Week three, we start with you spending a few days in the ministry of T. D. Jakes that will include some time with Alveda King. We think it will inspire you not only spiritually but also musically, because youll have at least one full day with LL Cool J and 50 Cent with the option to spend some time in the recording studio with them. We think youll find these brothers think a lot like you do.
We know youll want to spend some time in the studio alone too. In fact, we have it reserved just for you for as long as you want.
Rounding out the week three has you an afternoon with poet and music critic Stanley Crouch, bring some samples of the music youre currently working on. Don King will be picking you up for dinner.
Week four starts with breakfast at Diamond and Silks house, and youll be on Harris Faulkners Fox Show Outnumbered across from Crystal Wright, Mia Love, Stacey Dash. Oh, and Candace Owens will be there too! Were sure by now youll be able to hold your own.
We end your 30 day sabbatical where it started with Thomas Sowell. Youve learned a lot by now, and youll probably have a lot of questions before you venture back into the real world, but youll have realized that for the past four weeks, youve been in the real world.
Oh wait, before you go. Can we talk about the price for this education? Youre Kanye West, and we think you can afford it. How much would you be willing to pay? What is it worth to you? A million dollars? Two million?
We truly believe your teachers would do it for free, knowing that you would apply this knowledge to fulfill the second great reason to liveto help others.
It would be the time that would linger the longest if my life flashed before my eyes.
Dr. Sowell wrote my freshman economics textbook. I’d hvae him bring along his friend Walter E. Williams too.
I’m glad this open letter mentioned Alan Keys. Dr. Keyes is a brilliant man who doesn’t get enough love from our side of the aisle. And conservative as they come. One can learn a LOT from Alan Keyes.
(Full discolosure: I was a Keyester, a firm supporter when he ran. I was on his “slate” here in my state.)
great letter - thanks for the ping
I wish I would edit my letter to make sure everyone understands that I was referring to Walter E. Williams when I listed Walter Williams.
I would love to see this on the side bar.
>>Week four starts with breakfast at Diamond and Silks house,
Just think if he did a chat sesdion on their webcast.
New viewers coming to the table?
I recall some lib-to-libertatian types who had heard that Rush Limbaugh was a keep-em-barefoot-an-pregnant type anti-feminist, a falwell type figure from the religious right, etc. Then one day they saw his then-on-the-air early 90s tv show. And they saw things (preyoutube) that the networks weren’t covering (like Clinton laughing then crying on camera at Ron Brown’s funeral).
Sometimes eyeopening discoveries can be made and people wake up to the many years of lies that the MSM has fed them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxVbVe53QCA Vince lays it out.
Nikos-
I applaud your benevolent side. I can see this list swell with suggestions for similar like minded teachers and role models, benefiting anyone held in captivity by the left’s oppressively real and perceived plantation walls.
Let’s get to it freepers and send this list soaring with a legion of like minded thinkers. Alive... and deceased. RIP

We all pray for his safety...
I think that’s exactly my point. When you look at my “list” of people there, he’s is good company esp with LL Cool J and 50 Cent. The women listed there are talented in their own right.
Sometimes, like Bob Dylan, your career ricochets into a another direction, which it might do too with Kanye. I hate to say this, or maybe I should. What does the Kardashian chick bring to the table? She’s a trophy wife? I don’t see him growing with her in the picture.
Great letter and West has the support and prayers of all truth-loving Freepers.
Me, too, also...Brilliant is an apt descriptor for Dr. Keyes...
Excellent!!!! The man has a following, who likewise will have their eyes wide open.
I can’t open this at work. What does it say in a couple sentences?
Or at another level it is a bit of pro-wrestling with actors changing sides and keeping their name in print.
But invoking Sowell and others makes it seem that yes this is more than just a stunt.
I will hope he doesn’t bow to pressure and return to the Borg.
