Has the government ever been this much at war with itself in the history of the republic? (excluding the late unpleasantries in the middle of the 19th century, of course)

Here’s Bharara: “To be clear: this is the most dramatic and defiant thing anyone at the top of DOJ has said about the ongoing nonsense,” Bharara said, apparently referring to efforts by Trump’s Republican allies in Congress to hamstring the Russia probe.

Personally, I thought that line was both ironic and funny. The probe itself is the nonsense, and it has produced zero. Who needs to hamstring it. If you’re trying to hamstring the losing horse, you’re doing it wrong.

I don’t recall voting for Rosenstein. He doesn’t represent anyone and his flip answer to congress was rude and arrogant. The little weasel needs to be gone.

Who exactly does he think he is?

I wonder if Preet Bharara is aware that Congress has an oversight responsibility.

If there was any doubt that Rosenstein is just as bad as Comey and Mueller and just as determined to destroy Trump. How about cooperating with Congress? But that would endanger his friends and himself.

RosenRat is the head of the Deep State snake, or at least the neck and he is shielding the criminals from being exposed.

He needs to be arrested and prosecuted for obstruction of justice and abuse of power.

Insubordination, too! What does Sleepy Sessions think of RosenRat's insubordinance and defiance of Congress?

So we have Manafort, Page, Flynn and now Cohen under investigation regarding a crime that didn’t occur. Comey, McCabe, Srozk and Page all plotting a soft coup, and Bahara is worried about Rosenstein’s job? These clowns make the Warren Commission look like sages.

Why is it OK for Congressmen to scream for the impeachment of Trump, but not Rosenstein? Trump hasn’t done anything wrong and Rosenstein probably has. As usual, the Swamp has its values upside down.

Preet Bharara, a former US attorney and an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump

Another corrupt "lawman".

"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." Abraham Lincoln

America's Founders thoughtfully and carefully divided, separated, and provided checks and balances to prevent either an imperfect person, or groups of imperfect persons, from exceeding Constitutional limits on their temporary exercise of power over either their peers or "We, the People's" rights, intending that the "representatives" of "the People" should, in fact, represent their interests and hold unelected officials accountable to "the People," through them?

Where does this 21st Century unelected tyrant named Rosenstein believe he fits into the total scheme of things?

Does such an inflated sense of self reminds one of the previous president and then head of the FBI?

Rosenstein Truly should be fired for his statement. Congress has every right to bring articles of impeachment and it was extremely inappropriate to mock them and to characterize their actions as criminal activity.
