A Texas mother who locked her two children in a hot car last year to teach them a lesson while she took a nap was sentenced to prison for their deaths.
Cynthia Marie Randolph, 25, of Weatherford, was found guilty Monday of two counts of reckless injury to a child in the deaths of her two children, Juliet Ramirez, 2, and Cavanaugh Ramirez, 16 months. She was sentenced to two 20-year prison terms to be served simultaneously.
Randolph's charges were reduced. She had faced two first-degree felony counts of knowingly causing serious injury to a child. A conviction on those could have led to life sentences.

The lesson she taught them is: Your Mom’s a low IQ idiot, who will probably f*** up your life
Brain dead idiots reproducing.
Why no Death Penalty?
The children were 2 and 16 months old. “Teach them a lesson.” At that age? Unreal.
Ever consider trying the link?
She’s white.

She doesn’t looked like someone who couldn’t actually be taught how to be a parent.
This is an unjust sentence.
Eye for eye in a hot car.
And she will probably be out in 10. But she will have to carry the burden that she killed her children for the rest of her life. I doubt I could live with myself if I was responsible for the death of my 4 year old baby girl.
yep. Irresponsible a-holes need to be “fixed” so they cannot reproduce.
I know nothing of this evil person but I'd categorize her easily as white trash, despite her race, color, creed, or sexual orientation....there, I covered all of them..
Agree, it’s a lie. May have even been pre-meditated murder, she just didn’t think it would get her 20 years.
Are you saying a just sentence for killing two kids would be parenting classes?
Texas means business. This has to be the first. I have read so many stories of women committing actual homicide and getting off or getting an easy sentence on “post traumatic stress”.
Not sure if this is a good or bad news story. 20 years seems a lot for what is manslaughter.
The car was stolen?
In the words and tone of of Jordan Peterson, “that isn’t what I said”.
Prison time should certainly meted out, along with parenting classes, and (judging only from the picture, which admittedly is scant evidence) allowed back into society at an earlier time than the current punishment.
It’s my opinion that this person is a product of our government schools, and has behaved as such.
In spite of that clarification I guess I still disagree. I’m afraid I wouldn’t give her any slack based on suffering from government school abuse either. Her intent wasn’t to kill them but it was still malicious nonetheless.
