The article was initially unsourcedin error, then attributed to DEBKA. Not sure which is worse.

For about a month here have been reports that Syrian armor has been moving into the Syrian side of the Golan and the buffer zone with the intent of reclaiming it from rebels in that area. I presume this movement, if happening, is to confront the potential threat of Assad making a grave error, or more likely rebels being driven into Israel. Any large scale movement requiring mobilization of reserves would be obvious to everyone.

I am so sick & tired of seeing this scripture being used & twisted every time Israel & Syria is about to get in a war. Almost no one seems to bother to read the full context of it as it tells us of a future time when Israel is so badly mauled in battle and the northern cities has been devastated that in bitter anger Israel unleashes the Samson option which totally wipes out Damascus.

We are nowhere even close to that scenario yet.
