I see your point. I agree with you about male spaces and female spaces. We were going back and forth about two different things. Boys should not be required to open their clubs, public or private, to girls and vice versa. Folks of both sexes need their places where they can interact with members of the same sex and members of the opposite sex can interrupt this rapport causing it to become disingenuous.

I was going on about play time when you are just running around playing with little to no supervision or rules and you were free to hang out and play with people of your own choosing. If you have ever been having a beer with your friends at a bar and a lone female shows up you will have a first hand view of how this disrupts the whole atmosphere. Some guys shut up, some guys try to hit on her, some guys start trying to run her off by making crude comments and some guys simply walk away. Totally disrupts any kind of bonding (I hate that word) that may have or been occurring.

“you were free to hang out and play with people of your own choosing.”

For some reason that reminds me of a day, circa 1962, when a bunch of us were playing a pickup football game. That was the first time I remember a girl being invited to play, but the reason was that she had begun to bud, and some of the guys wanted an excuse to touch her.

Yeah, that old “brothers before women” thing goes out the window when a woman comes in the door. Women have a civilizing effect on men, and I don’t think you can maintain a civilization without it. The traditional role of women, so degraded by feminist shit goblins, is absolutely essential to all of us. “Wife and mother” is not just a job, it is a sacred vocation, a higher calling.

Any dipwad can run a company, but only wives and mothers can hold civilization together.
