Richard Painter, a longtime Republican who was chief ethics lawyer for George W. Bushs White House, intends to run for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota this year as a Democrat, according to a filing he made recently with federal elections officials.
Painter, a persistent and frequent critic of President Donald Trump on national cable TV news appearances and on Twitter, is expected to announce his candidacy at a Monday news conference.
Hes running for Democrat Al Frankens former seat. Franken resigned Jan. 2 in the wake of numerous sexual harassment allegations.

Good. This guy may split the RAT vote, and allow Phil Housley’s wife to steal Frankenstein’s seat for the GOP.

I sure wished I’d have done the same thing when Boosh II was running. Algore could not have been a much worse president and maybe he would have kept us from Obola!

Then he wasn’t a true Republican to begin with, if he was willing to sell his soul to the devil to get in office.

Minnesota has a pretty decent shot at flipping. I see this story as a sign that the Dems moving to the center to prevent that from happening. That is good for our side since they’ll want the real thing instead of a fake.
