I didn’t specifically see any middle-fingers being raised, but I did see a lot of people who looked well-scrubbed and well-dressed - often in clothes that looked brand-new - and who looked well-fed; I did not see haggard, half-starved people wearing rags. I did not see people with the haunted look of political refugees.

Invading American under foreign flags? Shoot them, all of them. Or, give Mexico 24 hours to secure their side of the border else we will. In 24 hours send troops in to clear a few miles of border. A few miles? Yes, far enough that no bullet or weapon can reach American soil.

Honduras is loaded with various communicable and parasitic diseases, which have largely been wiped out in the US. All those would-be immigrants need to first be screened for malaria, yellow fever, jungle parasites, etc., before being allowed past the border. (This kind of vetting was standard at Ellis Island.) US health officials fought a decades-long war to eradicate malaria etc. from the continental US. Carelessness in allowing infected persons back inside the country, will undo all that.
