The SDF crossed the Euphrates River and occupied the 5 villages of Junaynah, Jayah, Shamrt Hossan, Huwayjat Ma’ishyah and Shaqrah for a few hours.
Looks like 6 to 9 Kurds KIA in the counterattack that included Apache gunships.
The Kurds had just turned those towns over to local tribal militias.
That is not what happened.
It appears it was the Syrian Army (SAA) that crossed east of the Euphrates and were repelled by the SDF.
