Members of a migrant caravan have reached Tijuana, Mexico, where they were preparing for a Sunday showdown with American immigration officials. The administration of President Donald Trump has described the group as a threat, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions called the caravan as "a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system."
Nearly 20 attorneys from the United States were in the border city dispensing advice to the migrants as a healthy slice of the nearly 400 people who ventured north through Mexico from Central America planned to ask for asylum Sunday, according to Pueblo Sin Fronteras' Gina Garibo, who has been helping to guide the caravan.

They could detain them by putting them in tent cities or other facilities until their hearings. I believe they at least ID them by finger printing and photos before they give them a hearing date. And I think when and if they do not show up for their hearings, they become fugitives sought for deportation.
These illegals should not have been allowed to cross the border in the first place. This is different than random border crossings. This was a trackable caravan and we could see where they would cross. Trump had said “Until we can have a wall with proper security, we are going to be guarding our border with our military.” Yeah, right.
Okay ...I guess we should stop “talking’ then.
Byeee!
They want the cheap labor.
Sure dont see many crossing the DMZ do you?
That statement, if followed to its logical conclusion, proves there is only ONE national political party, the Democrats.
This is because a super-majority of 3rd world immigrants vote Democrat, and the Republican leadership knows this.
Therefore the only rational conclusion which can be drawn from these facts is that the Republican party wishes the Democrats to have perpetual control of the Federal Government
Quad-50’s.
HEH! :)
I wonder how Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Moonbeam would like it if the “migrants” crawled over THEIR privacy walls and invited themselves in for dinner, drinks, dessert; and bath and bed for a few nights?
>>Okay ...I guess we should stop talking then.

Fine, because I always cease talking to someone when they insult me by referring to my remarks as garbage. Now be a good lad and go away.
Yeah. Laws need to be tightened.
Mexico will take over the U.S. without a shot ever being fired.
Been that way since the Bush League Republicans took over.
They decided for US that we were going to be a Spanish/English speaking country with a lot more Hispanics.
Preventing the citizens from stopping the illegal alien inundation required control of both parties.
The invaders should be shot.
What I read - and I don’t know if this true, and I am not American - is that Trump threatened to put troops on the border, but this would be illegal - unconstitutional. Only the National Guard can be used.
This seems odd to me. What is your military for, if not to control and defend the borders? The US isn’t shy about sending its troops to all sorts of places. But apparently, they can’t be there, on active duty, on your own border.
Yup, no doubt about that. Our country probably has somewhere around 20 million illegal aliens here (over the decades), and maybe around 5 to 10 million visa overstays.
if they do not show up for their hearings, they become fugitives sought for deportation.

Unless they commit other crimes here, their likelihood of removal is pretty low.
Oh come on! Hell send out a tweet or something about how they must be stopped! Like hes an innocent bystander.
And no that wasnt sarcasm. Just irritates the frock out of me.
I live in Bakersfield. Home of agriculture. When I was younger we always saw the big, I think they were grey, buses of immigration heading out of town full of illegals. They were busing them back.
Our neighbor works for ICE and if they actually deport someone now they have vans. With one person in them. He has to drive one down to LA once in awhile.
